543/3595 in a Stars freeroll. Normally this isn't all that impressive but this was an Omaha freeroll. Pretty good result considering I have never really played it before. Gonna start playing for some $$ soon I think.
Lies... Yakko winning on UB. Next thing you will tell me is that curling is a sport.
BWHAHAHAHA

HA

I think it was Rich yesterday at poker telling us the story of the guy that kept going all in and that Rich ended up taking his money. Well, when i got home from poker yesterday I sat on UB for a while trying to make a few bucks and some guy joined the table and the very next hand he went all in. Well thats fine, everyone folded and the next hand he went all in again, got 1 caller and doubled up to 4 bucks.

now Im thinking how fast I could take his money with a high pocket pair. sure enough the next hand bring me aces. Boo YA! so I call 2 cents and the guy raises to .15, and another calls. Then I jump all-in and the fountain of fortune calls but lucky me so does the other guy.

Ding Ding Ding, full house for me and i walk away very satisfied with 7 bucks. If only this were higher limit. Praise Gamblor! He realized my dreams of Aces and free money.

After a disapointing 497/5000+ in stars this afternoon and curling being the only sporting event on tv (Sarcasm alert) I decided to hit the low NL tables in my ill state. So needless to say this table had been very kind to me so far but then I get my big blind hand and I sigh in all it's glory.

XXXXXXXX: 3h Kc

4 People called pre flop and than BAM!

Flop (board: Ks Kh Kd):

As I sit there in my ill state I jumped outta my chair (good thing I am playing online) and I can just pray that someone catches something. So I check it to the river and my miracle was answered and an A hit's the board. The guy in first position bets 75 cents and the next guy calls and I reraise to 5$. Knowing anything higher would be too fishy for such a small pot I was hoping for 2 calls. Well I got 1 and all is well :). Gotta love flopping 4 kings.

XXXXXXXX has Kc Ks Kh Kd Ah: four kings.
XXXXXXXX wins $12.45 with four kings.

Great quote from someone who hates having people drawing against them and losing to long shots.
"i punch them in the face. if its online i find out where they live and
hop in my car and go to their house and punch them in the face. had to
fly to sweden once, but it was worth it."

Well its nice to see those ppl who call with second or third pair hoping for 2 pair or 3 of kind get their just desserts.

I was in a 100 pt sng and got delt 89o while in the small blind. Flop was 10 7 6. Big smile on my face while im hitting the check button. Next guy bets about half the pot ($125), theres one caller and I call as well. Turn was an Ace. I check, the bettor bets the same amount. The caller folds and I just call. River brings a rainbow 3. I was sure he hit piece of the flop so I check to him again. Sure enough he bets around 300. With a little pause I hit my all-in button and get an instant call from him.

He ended up having A 7o. hahahhahah i loved it. To see that 2 pair on the turn go down in horrible flames was so rewarding.

After he doubled me up too 2700 I got assed by the cards and lost every hand I stayed in. I sat there folding while the button ran circles around the table at 75/150. Unable to defend my binds with 94's and 52's, I finnally snapped after raising big pre flop with AK twice tring to win it right there, but getting calls and more ass flops, then having ppl bet into me. Fold and lose. So the third time I got AK (all which were within 15 hands) I had a big raise to me so I raised all in. Lost to a pair of 10's. It was either lose/double right there. I was happy to be out of misery.

But the floped straight whipping that bastard still puts a smile on my face. Winning or losing that sng pails in comparision to that. :)

Finished 19/5007
How else could I go out unless it was horrific. I hit 3 9's on the flop and the guy stays in with my raises. He coulda only hit an 8 on the river to win and he did. What ya gonna do.
The more people who call, the better low pocket pairs are. So with 3 other callers in that situation It isn't that bad of a call.

Good thing I lost another 25$ to the guy who played A4 vs my AK and a flop of AJ10. River was a 4 and I cut my bankroll by 1/3. It happens.
KK in hand raise to $2.50 on the button. Get 1 call and the guy to my left goes all in for an extra 40 cents. Flop comes A109. The goon bets 2.50 to me and I gotta fold up shop. Turn/river was an ace and the guy shows 109. Well I was beat on the flop as I thought, to me it was the right lay down. If I woulda stayed in I woulda won (other guy who went all in had 88) and I woulda make aces full of kings but what are you gonna do. Some days you hit and some days you cancel out all the gains you made the day before.

Interesting hand of the day.
AQ vs KQs (69.9% to 30.1% preflop)

I had AQ and the flop came:
Flop (board: Qs 8s 6d):
(88.2% to 11.8%)

Even with a top pair the guy bet the pot ammount. To me this is a tell right away that the guy has a decent hand but with this type of flop it could really only be QQ,AQ,KQ,. I didn't think he had Q8 or Q6 because he raised preflop. Since I had AQ .... QQ was highly unlikely and AQ was pretty unlikely but I couldn't rule out QX suited.

Turn (board: Qs 8s 6d 6h):

To me this is the card that made my decision for me. He bet the pot again so I figured that at this level, a player isn't good enough to bluff on a flush draw so I figure he was on AQ or KQ.

River (board: Qs 8s 6d 6h Js):

The pot was 16.65 and he bet the pot putting me all in. I paused for a bit but I thought about it. The last spade showed but I wasn't too worried. He might have bet it because he thought I was on a draw. The only hand he might have that scared me was QJ. Well as I said before I was commited after the 2nd 6 hit because I thought I was best and I called. Sure enough he had KQ and the rest is history.

XXXXXXXXX wins $44.55 with two pair, queens and sixes.
I still like players who call all in bets with AK. It is a strong hand but when there is a 10 dollar bet to you (.10/.25 cent NL tables), to me it is an easy decision. Oh well even if his AK beat my KK (70% favorite) still won a few bucks. Welcome shaner(Windsor), Yakko(Peg) and Big^d(Peg) to the blog. Look forward to reading your posts.

Yo yo, to all the bloggers in the house. These posts are gonna be so full of angst and frustration I cant wait to see em.

But hopefully theres more posts about huge wins than some schmuck calling you down with 7 2 suited.

Have fun guys.

Rich 2286/3888
Chris 933/3888
This is my first post. Most posts will consist of interesting hands and horrific bad beats that are suffered. Like most poker players, online poker is the easiest way to play these days and well I won't say which site I play on but for those who will be reading you know anyways. Oh well time for a Stars Freeroll.
